Rasim Yilmaz, PhD, is the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Tekirdağ Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag, Turkey. Dr. Yilmaz received his MA and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the American University, Washington D.C. in 1996 and 2003, respectively with the scholarship of Ministry of Education of Republic of Turkey. He received Frank Tamagna Award for Outstanding Work in Monetary Economics in 2000 and Simon Naidel Award for Outstanding Work in Economic Theory in 2001. He became a full Professor of Tekirdag Namik Kemal University in 2011. His research interests include diffusion of information and communication technologies, social policy, and monetary economics.
